About the Physician

Dr. Singh received specialist Anesthesia training in the UK and undergraduate and postgraduate training in India. He did a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric critical care at Manchester Children’s Hospital. After completing his training (CCT), he was appointed consultant Pediatric Anesthetist in Newcastle, Leeds, and Swansea. He was the clinical lead for pediatric anesthesia, helped set up the pediatric acute pain service, and was the pediatric acute pain lead in the UK.

William was educated at Presentation Brothers, Cork before studying medicine at University College Cork, qualifying in 1980. Always one to follow the road less travelled, William, took his own journey through medical school and had a year’s sabbatical before final med. During this time he travelled widely in Europe, Israel, South Africa, India and Australia, and did a number of attachments in medical colleges in South Africa, Singapore and Sydney.
