Abdullah Khan

About the Physician

Dr. Khan is a board-certified pediatric emergency physician. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine (FACEP).

He joined Sidra Medicine in 2021 as an attending physician and trauma team lead. He previously worked as a pediatric emergency physician in the USA.

 

Khalid Al Ansari

About the Physician

Dr. Khalid Al Ansari is the inaugural Chairman of Level One Trauma Emergency Department and Urgent Care Sidra. He is the founder of the National Poison Center and the founder of the Child Advocacy Program in Qatar. He is also the Chairman of the Sidra Medicine Hospital Resuscitation Program.

Haithem Babiker

About the Physician

Dr. Haithem Babiker is a plastic and hand surgeon who joined Sidra Medicine in April 2022. He holds both a Medical Degree (India) and a Dental Degree (University of Pennsylvania, USA).

Prior to joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Babiker was an Associate Professor at the University of Cincinnati and an Attending at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (one of the top pediatric institutions in the world). He was the Director of the Pediatric Plastic Craniofacial Fellowship and Director of the Maxillofacial Division.

Najla Wehbe

About the Physician

Dr. Najla Wehbe joined Sidra Medicine in November 2021 as an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine. As a pediatric emergency physician, she evaluates and treats medical and surgical emergencies in acutely ill patients. Prior to working at Sidra Medicine, Dr. Wehbe worked as a pediatric Emergency Physician in Tawam Hospital, Alain Abu Dhabi.

Elwaseila Hamdoun

About the Physician

Dr. Hamdoun is a consultant pediatric endocrinologist and former assistant professor of medicine with American Board certifications in Medical Specialty, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Endocrinology. He joined Sidra Medicine's endocrinology and diabetes division in 2022 and was recently appointed Director of the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program.

Raghda Yahya

About the Physician

Dr. Raghda Yahya has been a consultant general pediatrician at Sidra Medicine since 2021. Before this, she spent 11 years as a consultant pediatrician at King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a general pediatrician, Dr. Yahya treats all types of illnesses and helps parents manage their children’s chronic diseases. She enjoys spending time with her patients and their families in inpatient and outpatient settings, striving to create meaningful and therapeutic relationships.

Ayman Saleh

About the Physician

Dr. Ayman Saleh joined Sidra Medicine in 2017, as Deputy Division Chief in the Division pf Pediatric Hematology-Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant. He was appointed Chief of the Division in March 2020. He currently serves as the Chairman of the IRB and multiple other committees at Sidra Medicine.

Khalid Alyafei

About the Physician

Dr. Khalid Alyafei holds now a position as division chief medical informatics and senior attending pediatrics emergency medicine at Sidra medicine. Dr. Alyafei has a lengthy experience in clinical operation, leadership, education and medical informatics. He held a position as program director of PEM fellowship at HMC on 2008. He assists in residents training & faculty development in providing didactic lectures and workshops in communication and medical professionalism.

Moath Alhamad

About the Physician

Dr. Moath Alhamad joined Sidra medicine in July 2019, and currently works as an attending physician in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). In the NICU, he serves as the leader of a multidisciplinary team of professionals (medical, nursing, and allied health), and - in collaboration with other medical and surgical specialties at Sidra - they take care of very sick full term and preterm infants with various medical and surgical conditions who are born at Sidra or referred to Sidra from other centers.

Through intensive training in a busy city hospital affiliated with Cornell University, to taking the role of primary attending at a “Trauma one, tertiary care hospital” of Temple University, moving later to a John Hopkins’ affiliated hospital in the gulf, I gained the expertise to managing critically ill and affected children.
