About the Physician

Dr. Oniya is a Senior Attending Physician at Sidra Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical College Qatar. She has served as one of the Directors of Medical Education for the OBGYN Department at Sidra and has been recently appointed as team lead.

Onoliode Agbetunsin

About Onoliode

Dr. Agbetunsin was a Consultant at the University Hospital of Leicester. She completed the advanced training modules in Advanced Labour ward practice and Labour ward Lead. She was the Labour ward Lead till her appointment at Sidra leading departmental risk management and clinical governance. She has special interest in intrapartum care, maternal mental health, high risk obstetrics, medical education and quality improvement. She initiated a maternal mental health clinic which improved the service provision for women in Leicester.

Wafaa Abdelghany

About Wafaa

Dr. Wafaa graduated from Mansoura University in Egypt where she completed her pediatric residency training and obtained Master degree in pediatrics. She subsequently moved to the UK where she trained in pediatric hematology and bone marrow transplantation at London, West Midlands Deanery hospitals and Birmingham Children’s Hospital achieving membership of the Royal College of Pediatrics and child health and the Royal College of Pathologists in hematology.

Atqah Abdulwahab

About Atqah

Dr. Atqah is a senior attending pediatric pulmonologist at Sidra Medicine, an associate professor of pediatrics at Qatar Medical College, and an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College.

She is the multidisciplinary pediatric aerodigestive clinic's director at Sidra Medicine and is in charge of the fellows and rotating residents' pediatric pulmonary educational activities.

Hala Abdullahi

About the Physician

Dr Hala joined Sidra in May 2017. She takes an active role in supporting the service provision within the department through the development of several guidelines and as an active member of the Educational, Guidelines and Resuscitation Committees. She leads on the unit simulation training for emergency drills and is involved in many research projects.
