About the Physician
Dr Amira Mustafa is a Senior Attending Physician at Sidra Medicine. She joined the hospital in 2017.
Dr Mustafa specializes in taking care of acute general pediatric problems as well chronic and complex conditions both at the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her fields of interest include respiratory, gastrointestinal, kidney, growth and neurodevelopmental problems in all children.

Dr. McCarter joined Sidra Medicine in 2019 and is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Anesthesia, Division of General & Obstetric Anesthesia and serves as the Department’s Clinical Lead of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at Sidra Medicine. Dr. McCarter takes great care in patient safety and quality Improvement, along with having an interest in regional anesthesia for pain management.

Dr Habib El Bechouti (MD, PhD) is a Senior attending physician Pediatric Anesthesia at Sidra Medicine.
Prior to joining Sidra, Dr El Bechouti worked as Senior Consultant pediatric anesthesiologist at the University Hospital La Fe a 1000 bed tertiary referral center (Valencia,Spain) from June 2005 to October 2013, joined Hamad Medical Corporation in November 2013 .

Dr Ali joined the Sidra Neonatology Center of Excellence, Doha in February 2018 from the Royal Hobart Hospital in Australia where he had been previously working as a consultant neonatologist.
Joined the faculty at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Wayne State University in 2001 as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and became the Director of Renal Transplantation Program form 2003-2006. Then joined the faculty of Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio as an Associate Professor and the Division Chief of Nephrology & Hypertension from 2006-2009. Moved to the Middle East as the Head Section of Nephrology at King Fahad Medical City in the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia from 2009-2012.

Dr. Khalid Ibrahim is a Senior Attending Pediatric Neurologist at Sidra Medicine and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. Before joining Sidra Medicine, Dr. Ibrahim served as a Chief of Pediatric Neurology Division at Hamad Hospital. He was also the former Pediatric Neurology Fellowship Program Director at Hamad Hospital. Former Clinical Lead for Epilepsy Service in North London, UK. Former Member of the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN).
