Saad Saeed

Dr. Saad Saeed joined heart center at Sidra Medicine in 2017. in addition to his other general cardiology responsibilities at Sidra Medicine, he continued his work in the development of pediatric cardiac MRI.

Dr. Saad Saeed has had the privilege to teach and coach medical students and has been involved in the Education & training of pediatric residents and fellows and since 2021 he is the program director of pediatric cardiology fellowship program. His specialty is General Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging.

Bernd Reichert

Dr. Bernd Reichert has been an Attending Neonatologist at Sidra Medicine since June 2015 and was part of the team instituting Neonatal Services by opening the ‘High-Risk Infant Follow-up Clinic (HRIF) in 2017 and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in 2018.

In addition to his clinical duties, he was instrumental in establishing the combined Sidra Medicine-WWRC Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship program, serving as its director since 2019 and leading it to ACGME-I accreditation in 2020.

Previously, he worked as a consultant pediatrician and lead clinician for pediatric infectious diseases for nine years at Manacor Hospital in Spain.
