About the Physician
Dr. Sundaram joined Sidra Medicine in January 2018 as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Physician. He is also the Physician Lead for Quality and Safety in the PICU at Sidra Medicine and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar.
Dr. Ashok Aralihond is an experienced Pediatrician over 20 years of practice in clinical pediatrics. He was trained in major institutions India and UK. He has advanced training in pediatric critical care from Imperial Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children’s Acute Transport Service, London.
Dr Haytham Ali received his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan in 1994. He completed his training in general pediatrics in the United Kingdom. Following the completion of his training, he became a member and fellow of the Royal College of Pediatric and Child Health (MRCPH-FRCPCH) in 2005 and 2010, respectively. Dr. Ali has also completed subspecialty training in neonatal-perinatal medicine and was issued a Certificate of Completion of Training in Neonatology in 2010.
Dr. Sheik Abdul Razak is an Attending Physician who worked as Consultant Pediatrician in York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since February 2015. After completion of Post graduate Diploma in Child Health in Madras Medical College, he completed his Pediatric training in UK. Dr Abdul Razak special interests are Pediatric Epilepsy, Neurology and Botulinum clinic. He was an undergraduate lead and Honorary Lecturer of Hull & York Medical School. Dr. Abdul Razak was Royal College Tutor before started his work in Sidra.
Dr. Sohail Ghani, an Attending Physician graduated from Pakistan and completed his Pediatric fellowship at Nishtar Medical Institute, Pakistan. Dr. Ghani pursued further training in Pediatrics in the South West of England, which included completion of special interest module in Pediatric Epilepsy.
Dr. Elkashif finished his General Pediatric training in the UK and Ireland and obtained his specialist Registration and worked as a Consultant Pediatrician and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Galway University in Ireland. He joined Sidra Medicine as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department.
Dr. Nadeem Jilani has joined ED as Senior Attending Physician to oversee Sidra Child Advocacy Program (S-CAP). He qualified and received his initial Pediatric training in India and then worked in reputed hospital in Saudi Arabia and UK. His qualifications are MBBS, MD (Pediatrics), MRCPCH, CCT (Pediatrics) and FRCPCH.
Dr. Maaz completed his pediatric training in the West Midlands deanery in the United Kingdom (UK) followed by Pediatric Oncology and Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Training at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, UK. He has dual accreditation (CCT) in Pediatrics and Pediatric Oncology from PMETB UK.
In 2008, he joined Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Lahore and was the Head of service from 2009 until before relocating to United Kingdom in 2011.
Dr. Soni graduated from the Government Medical College, Bellary, India in 1991. He underwent postgraduate training in Pediatrics at M.S. University, Baroda, India where he pursued three years of residency programme working in various pediatric sub-specialities and Neonatology.
