Before joining Sidra, Dr. Shatat was the Division Chief of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) where he led the division to rank among the top pediatric nephrology programs in the US. He was also the director of the pediatric hypertension program and the medical director of the acute dialysis and pediatric hemapheresis units at MUSC.

Ahmed Shamekh

Dr. Ahmed Shamekh is a Senior Attending Physician who was a Consultant Pediatrician at Kings College Hospital NHS Trust for over 12 years before joining Sidra Medicine in December 2017. Dr. Shamekh was the Lead Pediatrician for the Emergency Department at Princess Royal University Hospital. He has an interest in both Diabetes and Medical Education and has been the College Tutor leading the trainee education and training experience. Dr.

Chief, Pediatric Infectious Disease 

Dr. Mohammad Janahi received his MBBS degree from King Faisal University of Saudi Arabia and his residency training in 1993-1996 at St. Luke's and Roosevelt hospital in New York, USA, then fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey, USA from 1996-1999. In 1997, Dr. Janahi obtained his American Board of Pediatrics.

Saad Saeed

About the Physician

Dr. Saad Saeed joined heart center at Sidra Medicine in 2017. in addition to his other general cardiology responsibilities at Sidra Medicine, he continued his work in the development of pediatric cardiac MRI.

Dr. Saad Saeed has had the privilege to teach and coach medical students and has been involved in the Education & training of pediatric residents and fellows and since 2021 he is the program director of pediatric cardiology fellowship program. His specialty is General Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging.

Raza Rathore

About the Physician

Dr. Rathore has been a consultant at Sidra Medicine since 2017.

Previously he worked in National Guards Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prior to that he worked in major tertiary care centers in UK and Ireland.

In his present position, he deals with General and Obstetric patients, patients with chronic pain conditions and patients with complex medical conditions for elective and emergency surgical procedures.

Eman Al Maslamani

Dr. Eman A.Rahman Senan Al Maslamani is a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Senior Attending Physician at SIDRA Medicine, Doha, State of Qatar. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatric at College of Medicine, Qatar University
Dr. Eman the Program Director Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship. She is also an Assistant Program Director of Pediatric Residency Program and Chairs its Assessment Committee.

Amira Mustafa

About the Physician

Dr Amira Mustafa is a Senior Attending Physician at Sidra Medicine. She joined the hospital in 2017.

Dr Mustafa specializes in taking care of acute general pediatric problems as well chronic and complex conditions both at the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her fields of interest include respiratory, gastrointestinal, kidney, growth and neurodevelopmental problems in all children.
